The Mill - Aruba's Ultimate Afterhours Destination

Nightlife in Aruba is an important component of any successful vacation on the One Happy Island.

From sunset bars to speakeasies to nightclubs, Aruba has it all.

However, if you are the special type who wants to keep the party going after 1am, then De Olde Molen (or "The Mill" in English) is the right place for you.

Afterhours at The Mill Aruba

A diverse crowd of bachelorette parties, influncers and Aruba locals flocks to The Mill, located on the Palm Beach strip near the Riu, St. Regis and Embassy Suites Hotels.

Open from 9pm, The Mill really gets hopping after 1am, when the bars close in Aruba every night except for Friday and Saturday (bars close at 3am on those evenings).

There is plenty of parking if you plan to drive or The Mill is walkable from most of the Palm Beach hotels. Taxis are always an option as well.

After a security check at the door, you walk into the outdoor and stare at the large mill, originally imported to Aruba from Groningen in The Netherlands as a tourist attraction in the 1960s (source: Wikipedia).

My favorite nights at The Mill are Wednesdays and Sundays because the club is usually less crowded and does not have a $10 cover charge like on the weekends.

Midnight - Empty

1am - Starting to Fill Up

2am - PACKED

3am - Still Going

4am - Starting to Trickle Out

5am - Blacked Out
