Aruba has it all - beach vibes, a foodie culture, friendly residents and now a Vegas-style drag show at local gay mecca Cage Nightclub Aruba.

Featuring some of the island's top performers, "Cage Dolls" is a MUST DO while on the island of Aruba.
Performances are only at 9.30pm on Thursdays, and reservations are recommended. The entrance fee is $25 per person.

The popularity of Cage Dolls has increased exponentially in its three years of existence, including a feature on the official Aruba website:
Welcome to "Cage Dolls," a dazzling Drag Show that pushes boundaries, celebrates diversity, and embraces the art of self-expression. Prepare to be mesmerized as Aruba's nightlife scene becomes even more vibrant with this spectacular production.
When I attended this outstanding cabaret revue last Thursday, the diversity of Aruba's local and tourist population was on full display. In the mixed gender audience were Americans, Venezuelans, Europeans, Chileans and Peruvians of all ages.
Speaking with several of the guests revealed that most attendees found Cage Dolls via word of mouth or via the dating app Grindr. In fact I had no prior knowledge of his hidden island gem until I met an in-the-know tourist the night before.
When the lights went out around 10pm (according to the owner of the club, Humphrey Odor, "drag queens never start on time"), the large crowd in the 110-seat capacity showroom was ready for the approximately two hour performance.
Flanked by writhing dancers in sequined costumes, the elaborate stage sizzled with cover renditions of anthems from Lady Gaga, Cher, Dream Girls and Marilyn Monroe.
In between songs, the two hilarious MCs roam the crowd telling jokes and entertaining the increasingly raucous crowd.
Cage Dolls is definitely one of the more unique and authentic experiences in Aruba, and I highly recommend it, especially if you are a couple or have a large group celebrating a special occasion.

I don’t usually like candy-themed games, but this one was surprisingly good. The cascading wins and multipliers had me hooked. I found Sugar Rush Pokie and played a bit. Definitely more exciting than I expected.
